Got an update coming tonight or tomorrow, depending on when I get home from helping my brother move a deer stand and or the shop.

Got some work done yesterday. One model 2, one Woody, and my onatrio knife works machete all glued up..
I messed up and twisted off the head of a loveless bolt while doing a dry fit on another model 2.
It will be coming later but these other two will likely be shaped tomorrow evening and finished up Wed I hope.

The bolt head that got twisted off. thankfully it was dry fit and not with epoxy in the mix.

Built a Custom breakfast table at work the other day.. It needed to be a half inch shorter and the only place to take the height out of was the legs, they weren't plain straight legs so I had to make a new template for the legs. Not sure why but I thought it was cool and decided to share it.

This is a large custom that had just been thermal cycled. lord willing and the storm doesn't come today I hope to have it ground and hardened, along with a few others thermal cycled.

Got these two rough ground the other day, waiting for a clear chance to harden them. Hopefully the next day or so, then several more coming, starting to get things moving again finally.

I have been pretty terrible about taking pictures when I get into the shop lately. It's just been so hot both at work in the furniture shop all day and in the knife shop when I have anything left to get in there that I get out as quick as I can. Here is the last picture I took in the shop.. Just one of the oven running at 1536*F normalizing a bunch of knives.

Just so you don't think I'm a complete wuss, when its mid 90s outside it's usually 110 or so in the shop before I turn on the grinder or oven, and after 8 hours in a similarly hot furniture shop it's hard to go walk into the knife shop. I'm missing night shift for summer time, it was cooler in the knife shop at night.

Right there with ya, Terry. I just finished a cooling tower project, working on top of a 40' stainless steel structure in the blinding hot sun for the past 3 months was a killer.

But it was cool to watch storms roll in:

oh geez man, the only thing I would trade with you is the views. I'm a ginger, I'd be burnt ginger after a few days up there. lol I'm actually getting a little burnt from the opaque skylight over my table in the furniture shop.
Not sure why but I can work and hang out in temps hovering around freezing all day and be just fine, even invigorated a little; however, the heat kills me, literally if I'm not careful. Maybe it would be different if I lived somewhere not so humid so my sweat would evaporate and cool me like its supposed to but I overheat really easily.

Lol, my farmers tan is the envy of the neighborhood!
And my wife tells me that my neck looks like a piece of leather.
    I don't think it's a compliment.

Made some progress on this big monster today. Ground it to near finish last night before the thunder rolled in, finished it off this afternoon and got the handle on. This one is a long time in coming. @dhenson0 ordered this bad boy a goodly while ago. It is based somewhat off of Aragorn's elvan ranger knife with design input from Daniel and myself.

Also put a new to me addition to the shop to use today.
    A much more proper bandsaw.

Not sure when it was made, though it is not new for sure. It needs a bit of work restoring some parts and replacing an adjustment knob for the table, but its adjustments for the blade are good and it runs and cuts true.

    Thanks for looking.
