    Hey Bushfam!
A while back I got my hands on a bandana made by Wazoo survival gear.
    IMG_20181125_160246.jpg
Check it out! Complete with a dozen common edible plants of North America. While this bandana is not for identifying plants but to use for a reference for the plants and their uses.
    IMG_20181125_160307.jpg
Each of the 12 plants pictured on the bandana are broken down into uses for each part. ( Roots, leaves etc. ) The emblems beside the corresponding plant part can then be compared to the legend in the center of the bandana.
    IMG_20181125_160257.jpg
Now that's simplified foraging! I took it out for a little comparison.

The images on the bandana are in my opinion spot on. Hell you can't even tell the difference in the Turkey tail... This will be a bit of a WIP collecting each of the species and comparing them to the bandana. Let's say an ongoing review.. I'll finish as the plants become available! Combine the reference capability of this bandana, with the fact it's a bandana.. and you have a multitude of uses beyond just filtering water, carrying foraged plants, doing bandana stuff, looking awesome, Wazoo made another awesome piece of kit. More to come!

We have tons of Turkey tail around here, never read the medical benefits though, good to know. May need to pick up one of those rags when I can. Love their stuff. I like the sharpening pendant but its steeply priced for me

I saw. I'm better off getting a sharpening puck, will last a lot longer since my only other sharper is a lanky guide kit

This is awesome! I know Colter Co. makes various "instructional" bandanas as well, but that is a work of art.

Those are really nice, Wazoo does make some really neat products. Cool idea to put foraging info on a bandana too, good stuff buddy.

That's pretty neat! How about a good old boy version ... could print with blood stains, gravy, bbq sauce, mustard, chili sauce and the like.

The foraging bandana is back in stock on their website, for anyone that was hoping to score one.

Their site says that any orders placed after December 17th won't be shipped until they move into their new facility at the end of January, and most of their stuff seems to be out of stock. So now is a good time to grab one.

Will be curious to see how it holds up to wear and tear and especially washing when necessary. A very cool item but much less so if with any regular carry or use it becomes unreadable. Though I would hope it lasts as long as any other pattern on a regular old bandana (and honestly I rarely wash mine unless using as a hankerchief); that being said there appears to be much finer print and details here that hopefully stand the test of time at that price. Any thoughts from those who own one?

It is pretty visually impressive though, especially in use.

@beestokk I have carried mine for months and it shows no signs of wear. I haven't washed it. But still looks just as good as I'd did when I got it
