Kim-chi, soybean sprouts, black rice, green beans with some pork, avacado wrapped in dried seaweed, chive-egg-tofu flat potstickers and dandelions from the yard which were absolutely delicious! 11.jpg 22.jpg

That was Easter Sunday at my sister’s. First time for that photo, although we do mud bugs 4-5 times a year. I ate way too many but they were great! We have to cook multiple batches to suit everyone’s taste. I like mine spicy, gotta have a little lip burn, lol...

    I haven't made these in a while.
Brats with onions, peppers and potatoes. The spread is mayo, mustard and roasted garlic. I can still smell the garlic roasting through the house :)

No dinner last night. Just some cheese.
So that meant I was a little hungry when I woke up this morning.
I took some of the leftover veggies from the other night's brats, added some ham and turned it into an omelet.

It wasn't supper but I made some cornbread in my newest Lodge CI skillet tonite! I was snowed in for the whole day yesterday so I figured since I had some time I'd make cornbread, but as I gathered the ingredients I discovered to my horror that I was out of cornmeal! Since I was still jonesing for it I stopped by the store on the way home to pick up cornmeal, so at that itch is scratched now!:D

    Thanks.
I brush some olive oil infused with fresh garlic, red pepper flakes and salt & pepper on the layers. Grill it and top with fresh parm (or similar).

That looks great. And darn close to what I was leaning towards tonight, minus the wrap.
I was going to have bacon and broccoli with some Jasmine rice. Just something I can put in a bowl and shovel it in :)
