That is one big boy! Bowie himself would marvel at it.
Finished this one up today.
What ever happened with this one?
That was one beautiful blade @IzaWildman. Really like the wood handling on that one.
I think so too. I asked if it was for sale awhile ago.
That one was built to test several different techniques. I was trying to create a guard that looked case hardened like an old pistol and a shaped handle. This one will be staying home. Its the first large hidden tang bowie with a hamon that I ever made.
I really liked that one, would have liked to have it.
Finished this one up for a customer today.
Finished up this little 3 finger skinner today.
I've got a few blades that I am trying to decide handle materials for.
Well going left to right, the fifth one(black) if it has around a 7" blade and you were to put some type of antler/bone on it, you might get my attention
That one is a 3/16" O1 blade with a tapered tang.
How long is the blade/cutting edge?
I believe it's a 5" blade. I will have to put a tape on it.
Almost done with this guy. A little more cleanup.
Wow, gorgeous knife and sheath!
This might be my next crazy idea. A bushcraft cleaver. An ulu and a chopper. 3/16" 1095 HC steel with a flat grind into a convex edge.
Sweet looking blade and cover.
Will be waiting to see the finished product and testing. Looks to be another winner.
Catching up on the shop this morning. Lots of stuff going on.
This one is going to be a little different.
Working on the auction knife and a set of hunting knives for some brothers.
Aaaaannnd the power goes out right in the middle of a glue-up.
Been working on this one this morning. It still needs a pin in the handle and a sheath. It has a nice fat handle made from elk antler.
Finished this one up today. Now we need a sheath. This one has a natural curve that fits the palm and a big body. 3/16" O1 tool steel with a distal taper and a full flat grind.
What is the one in your hand? Never seen that on before.
its a one off custom 3 finger skinner for a customer. No handle, ultralight, A2, swept point.
Thanks. Will look for the finished product. Very nice work again.
