With all these lever action threads going on here, my juices are flowing for a Winchester 1892 or clone. I really like the Chiappa Alaskan!

Im also gonna seal the deal on a Glock MOS/40 very shortly here. The 10MM has been a short list favorite since it came out!

    What about you?

I just bought my first firearms this year, a Mossberg Patriot .308 Win, and a Savage MkII .22lr. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I've now got the bug and have been looking for my next purchase. When the time is right I think it's going to be a Henry .22 Lever Action Carbine. I love my Savage, but I think it would be nice to have something slightly smaller to take into the bush with me, and I've always loved how Lever Actions look.

Next but not last, looking to pick up a couple lever action rifles this weekend. Looking for a 357 and another 30-30, need to visit local gun shop and touch a few before making a decision as to what brand. I really like the Chiappa 1892 Trapper Carbine 357 MAG 16” but also like the Henry Big Boy all weather 357 MAG

The last gun I bought was Mossberg .410 pump, hadn’t planned in buying one but it was sitting there on the rack in the pawn shop all alone.
    The next will be a 6” .357 S&W or maybe a Ruger.

My Browning 725 Skeet shotgun was the last, and it might just be the last. I actually have a few I’d like to dispose of without replacing.

I do have one .22 Hornet that I will replace with a bolt rifle, and I’m holding out hope of finding a BP Gibbs target rifle and the new Pedersoli Under Hammer target pistol is one I want to at least take a look at. Aside from that I’m pleased with what I have.

My next will be either a Springfield 911 in 9mm or a lever action. I haven't decided on what caliber but was looking at either 30-30 or something similar.

It seems that 9mm keeps getting cheaper (the practice ammo anyhow), The Convertible is a good way to take advantage of that, in addition to the .38 Spl./.357 Mag capability.

My next purchases will be a takedown .22, and a revolver in an adequate elk cartridge.

I keep thinking of getting a .327 Federal revolver, probably a Ruger Single seven with a longer barrel. Unless I see an interesting used firearm I want to buy before that. The last gun I bought was a used but like new Rossi M59 .22 magnum pump, copy of a Winchester 62.

Still working on getting my MGM 30-30 barrel up and running on my G1 Contender frame. I need to order up a scope mount, thinking DNZ one piece, and a scope, leaning towards a Leopold 6x fixed.

Not sure what would ever be "last" - but I am always looking at N frame Smiths that match the calibers of my 1894 Marlins.

Just picked up my "last" gun last week, an abused Rem 700 223Rem. Had to have been someone's truck gun, the outside of the barrel was in bad enough shape, previous owner had sanded and painted the barrel. The bore and muzzle appeared to be in acceptable shape and the receiver and bolt looked fine. After 3 days of soaking an scrubbing, the bore is not bad at all. I wanted a cheap 223 for a dedicated cast bullet rifle. I understand that the 223 Remington is not the best choice for cast bullets, so there is the challenge. I don't expect a silk purse but I figure 3 or 4 cans of Krylon Camo paint and a couple of oak and hickory branches will elevated it above a sow's ear.

    Great comments guys!!

I was meaning the “last” one ya bought. More so than your “last “ gun. ;)

What is your LAST forearm, is a sad topic no one wants to have to think about.:8:

I'm not sure what my next one will be. I'm thinking some kind of extremely lightweight and easy to carry but high-powered pistol for finishing off bears. We're part of an organization that takes disabled soldiers on hunting trips, and I've found that they often hmmm... Don't make the cleanest shots, and I end up with a pissed off wounded bear on the ground in front of me that I need to kill double quick, lest I have to spend the rest of the day following a blood trail. I wish Bond Arms made a 6" derringer in .44 Magnum. Other than that ridiculous .45-70 derringer that American Derringer used to make, the biggest they go seems to be .357. Or .45 Colt/.410, but I don't know if it's safe to shoot .45 Colt +P in those things. Awful lot of money for something non-collectible that I might shoot once or twice a year, too.

I picked up my Glock 17MOS Gen 5 Friday morning...just waiting for my RMR to arrive. I have already polished the internals with a multi-face emory board.

I bought the Glock G40 (10mm) MOS when they first released and set it up in a chest rig configuration. I bought it specifically for a Hog Hunting Rig.

I know pics or it didn't happen...umm I am sitting at work and I'm sure the guards at this Government facility would frown upon me walking in with such unauthorized equipment...lol

    I'll post them up tomorrow!

My latest is this martini sporter I picked up at an estate sale over the weekend, the lady said make an offer, i threw out a ridiculous low number because they didn’t know the caliber, to my surprise they took the offer and I’m now the proud owner of a martini I have no idea what cartridge it shoots, a chamber cast should pinpoint the cartridge but I’m guessing something like .25 Krag or 25/303, never owned a martini before but it seems like a neat project. 90F3E94A-F41D-4B63-81FB-DEE6C516D862.jpeg

The last that I bought was a Remington 870 Tactical Express last year. Two stocks later, I'm done modifying it.

    Next? I've been hankering for a .22 revolver. I'd like an old H&R top-break 9 shot or S&W K-22 Masterpiece. But more likely will be a S&W Model 60 3" .38/.357 for everyday carry.

I think the last I bought was a TOZ 63 . A Russian double in 16 gauge. next, maybe a svt-40, maybe a colt woodsman, maybe a winchester semi in .351 winchester. maybe a m1a.

My last one I bought was a 22/45 Lite last year.

Last pistol was a Polymer 80 build (Glock 19 parts) with RMR cut out and site. Very sweet shooting Ghost gun. Last rifle was a Weatherby Vanguard in .270. I'm not a hunter but wild boar have been spotted not too far off and I want to be prepared.

The last was a Sig P365 too many months ago, and I have several AR lowers on the way now.

I have too many on my wish list to say which is next.

    S&W 642 or 442
    Glock 48
    Glock 17
    CZ 75 SP01 Tactical
    Dan Wesson ECP
    Ruger SR1911 in 10mm
Ruger Redhawk in .357 or .44 Mag
PSA MP5 (if they ever come out)
Ruger 10/22 (finger is hovering on Man's Best Friend model that PSA has for $220)
    Mossberg MVP LC in .308
CMP Garand with Winchester receiver and original wood
    Springfield SOCOM 16
    AK47 Underfolder
MK12 SPR Clone (I'll build it.)
    AR in .458 SOCOM
    AR pistol in .300 Blackout
Another cheap 5.56 AR kit to throw in the rafters, just because,
    And optics, suppressors...

Last one was a Colt 2019 King Cobra.

    I want a:

    1) CZ-USA 527 American, Micro Mauser Bolt Action chambered in 6.5 Grendel, 5-round detachable single stack magazine, 24” barrel, Turkish Walnut Stock, set trigger.

    2) Full-stock (Mannlicher style) Mauser in 6.5 x 55 Swede, with open sights.

    3) Iver Johnson Pocket Ace...no reason, just because...too darn cute.

    4) Mauser Hsc...kind of a grail gun.

    5) S&W Performance Center TRR8

    6) S&W Performance Center Thunder Ranch 45 ACP.

    7) Walter PPK blued 380 ACP

    8) Mauser M96 in original caliber...another grail gun.

    9) Luger...standard Heer Model, another grail gun

Got more in mind...maybe something weird like a 22 Mag volley gun.

Last was a S&W 380 Bodyguard pocket pistol. My next is only a dream I think, a Winchester model 70 classic pre 1964 in 30-06. I may find it one day. To make the search a little harder I want it in left hand.

I just picked up a gun that I've been looking for for a good while. Finally found a H&R Tracker 1, the smooth bore version. To me its the perfect woods running gun. Rifle sights, so good for slugs with nice accuracy out to 100 yards but since its smoothbore buckshot and small game loads work great too out to decent distance even with the cylinder bore. Light weight, breaks dow to pack and I even got the old discontinued shell holder shock. A real do all woods gun. Next? I've been eyeing that new keltec KS7. Did I mention I like shotguns?

CZ 527, 6.5 Grendel with 16" threaded barrel. Handy little rifle with a decent amount of punch. I'm on a waiting list to be notified when they are back in stock.

I could see myself going for an Chiappa Alaskan or maybe another Winchester model 71 (348 cal). Maybe a Browning BLR in 358 win.

It difficult to justify anything really because I've given a literal truckload of leverguns to my nephew because I don't have room for the overflow taking over the space in my bedroom so they went down the road. Cool stuff like Winchester 94's old Marlins and a few Winchester 1886 examples and some Savage 99's and similiar stuff. Much of it was duplicates to stuff I already had.

Just picked up a nice clean used S&W 642...

...next...was thinking about a Magnum Research BFR in 500 JRH.... I have a 4" S&W 500 so all I need is some brass....

Spoke to JRH on the phone yesterday...he is just fininhing up a 4.75" Uberti Cattleman that was a .357 Magnum but is now a .41 Special... He figures it will be done Friday...so that I guess will be my "next" gun....

I realize that it may not be popular but I would love to have a Rossi circuit judge .
I like my revolvers because I can load them for specific events and ready my self too for the unexpected.

My last was the Savage Hog Hunter in 308. Coincidentally, I bought a Gemtech Dagger to shoot suppressed and subsonic. The crux of the matter, is the gun is way too practical! It is useful and tough way beyond it's economy price tag. I've only shot handloads, but my first try at them, (180 gr Sierra round nose) left me with a majorly accurate gun.

I had to fiddle with it, to say I had some input in the gun's greatness; :13: I hydro dipped the stock, and added a cheek piece. My next gun may be the Weatherby Vanguard in Turkish walnut in 25/06, just because it would be a nice rifle. Of course, I have this Tikka 695 in 7mm mag with really pretty wood....hmmmm.

Getting the itch for either another cap and ball revolver, or a wonder 9. A Walker, or steel framed Colt Army replica, or a Canik.

@oldpinecricker , next time you take a notion to give away lever guns, can I be your nephew???

    My next gun(s)...
I need (want) a truck gun. A 20 gauge or 12 gauge pump would suffice.
An Ar-15...those things are like LEGOs
A .22 revolver. H&R 922 Would be great, or one of those new Rugers.

Did you get the walnut stocked Patriot ? I was looking at one of those online recently. How do you like yours ?
Also the Henry .22 lever action is a great little gun , I have one and it’s awesome. Accurate , lightweight, holds plenty of rounds and is just plain old fun to shoot !

My next rifle will probably be a ruger gunsight scout or a mossberg mvp patrol rifle in .308 , still trying to decide which one to go with ..?

Unfortunately the walnut stock wasn’t available so I got the synthetic. I have very little experience with firearms since this is one of my first guns, but I can definitely say I love the Patriot so far.

Last was a two-fer Remington Tac-14 hardwood and a Glock 45 at the same time.
Not that I need it but, next will likely be a Glock 48 in all black. Maybe that should be a "gift" for my wife.:16:
