Which Spruce?

    I can't seem to i.d.this spruce tree I came across on a hike.I figure it's either a Norway or a Blue Spruce.Which is it?

    Blue spruce needles have a.bluish tinge, are all the way around the twigs instead of flat, and so hard and pointy, that you cant hold.it barehanded. If it wasn't a coniferous tree, you'd swear it was cactus.

    The needles soft and arranged on either side of the twigs put me in mind of white fir. If the branches are arrayed as 5 branches straight out from the trunk in regular layers, that also points toward white fir.
