When buying stuff in bulk don't be fooled by word games in advertising. Here is a classic example of words that mean nothing to your pocketbook. Yes 10 ounces are almost 20% more than 8 ounces. True as far as it goes; but it does not go very far. It’s really 9.6 ounces to be 100% accurate. So what? This container of soap as far as I can tell was not offered in a 6 ounce size and the 10 ounce size was the same price as last time I purchased it. They are implying that I’m getting 2 ounces more for the same price as what? What I paid before? Maybe they think I cannot remember what I paid in the past, and are assuming by telling me something true I’ll ignore that they are really just playing word games and not doing anything special for me. The old saying is figures can lie and liars can figure.
