    This sale is withdrawn

This tent is the same as the one made by Eureka for the military. The difference is the military version has a heavier camo blackout fly. This tent has a large storage area/vestibule on each side . It goes up fast and easy.

I used this tent once and everything about it was perfect including dealing with a heavy rain. BUT, one of my legs has such limited flexibility that it's just too difficult for me to get in and out of.

This retailed new for $247. I'm asking $85 plus actual shipping to your ZIP.

That's an AMAZING price for that particular tent. They're great if you like to sleep in in the morning, which I do.

Unfortunately, I just invested over $2G for a rooftop tent to be installed on top of my FJ Cruiser. Pics when I bring it home.

Priced too low but it has to go. I just can't freely get in and out.

Is that the 7-1/2’ by 3’ one?

I’ve been using a Eureka Timberline w vestibule for nearly 30 years, my WindRiver burned in a garage fire and I still have a 25 year old Expedition 4 season that I guide with.

Edited to to clarify 1/2 foot

I don't really know the answer to that question. I've never seen that description. How would I figure that out?

Either way; Eureka’ is a proven winner for many, many years.
The name isn’t as recognized because they don’t make clothing too like The North Face etc.
But yea people, LongCruise is right; it’s a great price!

My very first tent almost 50 years ago was a Eureka canvas 8×8 that served me extremely well. The wife and I camped many nights in it through all kinds of weather without a hitch. Sold it when we bought a tiny Apache pop up.

I've seen some of those rooftop rigs and they are truly unique.

Agreed! My old Eureka was entry level, anything but light, but served me well in many places including multiple Western USA states and national parks, Florida, West Virginia, Costa Rica, etc. Still got it though don't get out as much as I used to unfortunately! Can't even recall the model name but one of their most basic camping tents, 2 person 3-Season. Good stuff.

Great looking tent! I'm having the same problem though with my Eureka...getting harder to get in and out of it to the point, too. GLWTS!

I love this tent. I’ve used it many times before I switched to hammocks.

Here’s a pic m of my Timberline on a December overnight in Wharton SF back in 2009’ w my son You can see the optional gear/cooking vestibule (complete w chimney vent).
Has the aluminum shock-corded poles that you can whip out like a blind-cane and they snapped ridged:cool:

    Any takers? Offers?

I need a tent that i can get my 72 year old body in and out of for an August 3rd sheep hunt. This one has to go before I get another with a taller entry.
