Anyone seen this or done anything like this?
@Luzster thanks for the heads up. I've used a handheld portable heat machine for sealing plastic bags, removing food from cans (c-rations) for lightweight packing & transportation. The idea using the wire hanger is impressive.
I like it thanks. I've used a hair flat iron to seal mylar bags before.
That’ll work! It’s like burning feathers for fletching arrows, same principle.
Thanks for the post.
Very nice! Thanks!
Very neat, thanks for sharing that @Luzster !
very cool; thank you
RIP Grant.... he had some cool ideas!
I clicked on this thread and now I've got a severe case of the feels.
Thanks for passing this along!
Wow didn’t know he died, enjoyed his content on occasion
I just saw he passed, RIP!
That's an amazingly useful trick!
Thanks so much for posting this .. I'm a huge fan of using Ziploc bags for all sorts of things, this trick is a game changer.
You can buy zip loc bags of any size you wish . look online or go to Hobby Lobby .craft stores usually handle them.
I too know how to improvise too , but if I don't have to it's cheaper in the long run to use the commercial provisions.
Thank you for sharing!
