bucket

Something i havent read, has anyone considered using a food grade 5 gallon bucket with one of those "Gamma Lids", i guess it snaps on the bucket then the center of the lid screws in and out? Was thinking of putting together some family size kits, like meds-vitamins-FAK, food, clothes, water...
