1rst leatherworking project

hey guys i have only recently joined this site. after spending about 5 hours obsessing over the self made thread i decided to try my hand at leather working. i really enjoy documenting my camping trips and backpacking adventures whit writing and pictures so i decided to make a travel journal.
any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. thanks

the hides are 2 different caribou i got this year. the hide i decided to keep the fur on and the other i removed the hair and brain tanned. my first time doing that too haha
