A little help

Had to have one of those Fin Gas Mask Bags. Now I'm gonna apply some sort of water resistant coating. I have used Snow Seal mostly in the past and am prone to continue with that. Question for the esteemed panel is, what works best for you?

I have use dthe snow seal on canvas and other cotton cloth with good success in particular my boonie hat and a pair of home made gaiters

Slightly related post, I used SnoSeal when I lived in TN, but have now been in Florida for many years. Since it gets so hot here, is there any problem in hot climates with SnoSeal seepage from packs so treated?
