Afternoon sightseeing

Yesterday was a pretty decent day, and I was restless. I took a little sojourn around the area, and thought I'd share a few of the sights.

I heard a familiar sound, and found the gang huddled under a tree. They got a little nervous, and wandered off for more privacy.

A little further out and I ran into this little group. This is a neat time of year, because the animals always seem more relaxed. Or maybe it's just that they're focused on filling their tummies, and don't care about visitors. Unless, of course you smell like a cat, or a wolf.

Thanks. This is a small part of a bigger flock that hangs around the edge of town.
It's always a pleasure to be able to watch deer just doin' their thing, instead of staring at you, or spooking. There were actually eight animals in this little group.

It's solidified albino rain. Haven't seen much this year...so far.
