They are a lot of fun, and can take small game at reasonable ranges.

However, check your state reg's. Here, in Texas, hunting game animals with an airgun is illegal. That varies from state to state. I know here, the Game wardens used to overlook it when it was kids hunting rabbits, but after you got about old enough to drive, you got warned on it. :)

It is the same here in Europe you can hunt in England and not in Spain each state as a different rule

Check your regs, for sure. Here in Idaho, we can hunt some small game with air guns.

Then there are the Eurasian Collared Doves. Idaho considers them an "invasive species" (since they are), and as such, they can be hunted anytime with any weapon - so long as you have a hunting license. I don't know, but I'd bet that other states are allowing this too. I've been potting a few of 'em here and there with my air gun.

Good deal, Santa scored a big one! That gun should easily take squirrel, rabbit and other small game up to raccoon and even coyote size.
As mentioned, check state game regulations, as not all states allow use of air guns, pneumatic guns, for hunting. Arizona allows them for some game, but not all.

Brings back memories of being a young buck spending my days running around in the woods with my pellet gun. If only I could go back to that, the freedom I didn't even know I had. Too many worries and obligations now.

Dad got the Gamo 1200<?> for Christmas and that thing is amazing. They have taken down wild boar with this rifle! He got it for taking out the over population of stray and wild house cats that are making a tremendous mess around his home. He also will do some squirrel and rabbit hunting with it. I have a Daisy with a Red Dot scope that I shoot squirrels and rabbits out of the garden and even killed two doves with one shot with it. They were lined up perfectly and I didn't even know the second one was there. I squeezed off and two fell over. I couldn't believe it!

250m/sec do you mean 750 feet per second ? if so how high eg (feet per second) before you need a FAC or PAL or ? you call it over there...Here in Canada anything above 495 feet per sec requires a PAL

My brother has one of the china made ones that when I'm over I shoot pigions with. Its great fun I hope you have as much fun as I do.

Nice. But how is it "green"?

Mario

Well I consider it "Green" because the amount of lead descharged is less then any other type of gun and therefore the waste is little, no need of gun powder means no used shells polluting the fields and its almost a silent shot

In Spain, where i live all you need is to be 14 yo and over and to register the ownership of the Airgun with the local council,in the European Union the Air gun power is regulated so this model is in the highest caliber and power in the market

Any time you decide you don't want to fool with that skanky ol' Spanish air chunker any more just drop me a PM and I'll take it off your hands. Heh

I am sure you will:4: Happy new year brother

A .25 caliber airgun, sweet! The good news is that it will have good smack down on small game. The bad news is that you can't just walk into the local china mart and pick up a tin of pellets since they usually stop at .177(4.5mm) and .22 (5.6mm).

Not here in my neck of the wood you need to go to sparts shops to get Ammo of all kind
