Went for a short hike before work (second shift). Burton Cave is owned by the state and maintained as a nature preserve, so leave only footprints, take only memories and pics.
Found these piles of antique litter, I've been here many times but don't remember this stuff, must not have been in this particular spot before.
Car hood:
What year Mercury is this?
Here's the grill:
A refrigerator:
A stove:
Then this, no clue what it is. About 5 ft long, over 2 ft wide, little over a foot deep. Sides were beveled the 5 ft length. Opening on the far end for a flue maybe? Steel cable cast in the sides looped across two places.
Here's the end with what appears to be the flue opening:
Any ideas?
