Cummon don't laugh...I was curious if anyone had tried them, maybe in a PSK application. Not very big, but for PSK could see an application maybe.

Well, after I stopped laughing........

They should make excellent water containers. You can can freeze them and they hold up, and you can stick them directly into boiling water and they hold up. I know this because I have two sons, and remember the 3 a.m routine of getting a bag out of the freezer and boiling water to thaw it, so my little monsters would stop screaming.

Some might think its an udderly ridiculous idea. But I'd like to hear how it worked out for ya

Actually I was thinking of trying them with one of those straw filters I recently got. I'll buy some this week and see.

Might be some of the breast tastin water ya ever had.... Ok I'll stop now

I've heard of condoms (no lubrication or spermicide) in survival kits to hold water. Put those in a sock for protection once filled and they'll hold a lot of water for their size and weight to carry them beforehand. I'd guess something actually designed to store fluids for drinking would work great. Never actually seen one though.

I figure wally world or target would have them....

I believe Pict on here or Colhane on youtube has used them with a lot of success. It seems as if he has one on his neck knife kit video too.

I would rather drink from on of them than a condom ... just wrong...
Are the larger ones made of silicone ?

I think I would rather, drink out of a booby bag than a ----- bag. Omg,,,, shut up. LMAO.

something i find funniest is taking things out of their normal context, or full context, and this thread tit-le is one of them... just read the first four words and did a double take...

yeah... let us know how it works out for you...

Some are better than others. Tougher plastic and better ziplocks. I believe my wifes choice is Lansinoh. They are much more stout than others we have used. I stole a few and have them in my PSK.

new or used?

I think they would work pretty good.. It's been years since I've seen any, but I'm sure they've improved

To be honest with ya that's all I read before I opened the thread. LOL

Good idea by the way.

They have the ounces printed on the side... which would help with measureing out iodine. I like the Idea... feminine napkins are great for large wounds.... eyeliner or mascara are good for putting under the eyes football style to protect your eyes from the bright sun light or snowblindness. the fat in lipstick helps polish the bottom of a soda can to make fire or signal. a foursided nail buffers can help touch up you knife. and nylons make good water filters, improvized fish nets and cordage.

This is why it's great having all inclusive bushcrafters, they have great ideas for using things we probably wouldn't have thought of on our own.

Holy hell, that is about as far beyond the veil I wanna go. So, if SHTF, look around for a woman or better still, her purse?

Which makes sense, isn't a purse the female version of EDC?
