Bear Grylls Trousers

I know jcl-md has some, and loves them. I just don't care for the look of them.

I tried reading about them but I kept getting stopped by the word styling. Any info on what makes them good pants? They look to be reinforced in areas, and read something about drying loops??

If you've got any info that would be nice. Not really looking to buy any, just looking for information. Thanks buddy, hope they work out for ya.

I like them alot !

I would buy again !

THANKS!

I'm surprised Bear's using a synthetic fiber fabric pant given that he uses wood fires all the time. No doubt the pant looks pretty tough but in my experience, a spark from the fire will melt through nylon in a flash. I prefer a poly/cotton pant like something 5.11 Tactical puts out for trips where I probably will have a campfire and 5.11 pants are about 1/3 the price.

My dad has a set and really like them. The only thing is that the black knees and butt are not reinforced like they look like. I really like the looks and feel of them. I will be ordering some soon.

I just got the Crag hoppers Nosilife shirt and pants. I'm very excited to try them against mosquitos this summer.

I wore the BG shirt at my buddies house, I can verify its quick drying capabilities.

I got most of these clothes on sale and I'm VERY happy with my purchase.

Actually so happy that I bought my father the Nosilife Shirt and pants foe his trip to Costa Rica, I'll report back with if they are mosquito-proof or not.

I actually really want a pair of these pants, just can't justify spending 80 on them but if anyone hears about them going on sale id appreciate a heads up. I really like all the places they are reinforced in, especially on the ankles my pants tear there more often than any other spot.

They Look Great Brother AMS But I'll stick to my BDU's or My Carhartts . Like the reinforced in areas.

Crag Hoppers rock. I have a pair and wore the heck out of them this summer. They have plenty of pockets good durability and are comfortable. You made a good choice my friend.

You couldn't wait to get into BG's pants :33:...

Sorry, nobody went there so i chose to take the path less traveled :p.

I respect him for giving himself a field enema using a water hose, but the pants suck. I got scratched badly on the back of my right hand whenever I wear them. And the non-zippered pockets are useless for anything.

I buy the non-BG craghopper line of shirts and pants. Great for warm weather.

I have a pair also. To me they are great for dry weather. I wore them back east in the humidity and I hated them, they felt slimy. Here in AZ I wear them and they feel more like cotton. They seem comfy from the high 30s on up.

I won't lie, I was checking out jcl md's trousers at the HW Meet. Wait, that came out wrong...
