Not in the woods....damn.
This is an update to my previous post here: http://www.bushcraftusa.com/forum/showthread.php?p=817425#post817425

I got this Belgian gas mask bag specifically to carry my twig stove set up in. As you can see, there was still room at the top:

I got a new 12cm Zebra pot, hoping it would fit on top:

It was a no go, by a long shot:

Then I just wanted to see how the Zebra pot would fit on the twig stove. It fit on top of it, but wouldn't fit inside, on the tent pegs. But, good enough:

Then the idea came across my mind, to see if the stove would fit in the billy pot. Yes it did, like it was made for it:

Doesn't get much better than that:

Then, of course, my GSI cup fits in the stove:

And my Guyot bottle inside the cup:

And yes, it did still fit in the bag:

The insert pan fits nicely on top:

With still over an inch to spare:

The contents in my bag. Complete Zebra pot, stove, 38oz. Guyot bottle, GSI cup, pot lifter, SScotch brite pads, fatwood, and titanium tent stakes. All in all, a nice little kit.

Very nice looking set up.

I'm working on a compartmentalized cooking set up myself right now. Thanks for keeping my wheels turning.

Warrior,

Nice set up! I'm using the same bag for my Zebra. Could you tell me where you got your twig stove? Thanks

That's handy. It's nice to have a complete cook kit to grab from your gear and walk to your cooking area, instead of dragging out everything piece by piece.

Thanks. I won it in a contest on Bladeforums.

Sure is. I actually had it attached to my Falcon II. Wasn't the best, but worked out okay.

Nice set up!

In the words of Sgt Mac, "get out there and knock the shine off them"

I ordered three of these pouches for .99 cents each at CenterfireSystems weeks back and was home on leave and finally got to take a look at them. One was as new as The Warriors, one was used but in great shape, the last one was well used, faded in color but no tears or rips of any kind withg plenty of life still in it. So if your ordering from CFS, you might want to add a few of these pouches for .99 cents, well worth it IMO. Think I'm going to be making a fishing kit out of one pouch, not sure what my plans are for the other two.

I gave $8 for 3, that were all in excellent condition. Gave one to my son, obviously used one for my stove kit, and the other one is just sitting there waiting to be used for something.

Hey Brother, that twig stove was made from a stainless steel utinsil holder that I picked up at Ikea for around 4-5 bucks. Built one for myself and had so much fun with it I built a second one and did a little contest/giveaway.

Cheers

The Belgian bag compliments your well designed kit nicely. I have not seen a nicer kit, well done!!!!!
