Hello All, Mild frustration setting in here. I want to put new Micarta scales on a stripped BK2. I do not want to use the pre-made ones that are so readily available on the internet. The problem I'm running into is that the one's I can find are just too narrow; by at least 1/4 inch. I have ordered from North Coast knife and texas knifemaker and have run into the same problem.
I have made my own Micarta before, but can not seem to get enough compression and the scales end up flakey. That and it's just too cold to use the garage to let them cure in, impossible to do it in the house because of fumes (things go boom). Green or Coyote tan are the preferred colors. Any suggestions? :51::4: Todd
