Anybody have one of these? I really don't need another knife but it is intriguing. Steven meanie took the time to talk about it in his editorial column in Tactical Knives magazine as a routine carry blade for him a while back. It's 440C, Cocobolo, with a 4.75" blade. The grip looks to me like the handle on my little 556MP utility, which is very comfy... These go $34 on some sites, not bad. It is MIC, I know many folks here like to support US manufacturers, but it does look handy...

I've used the Boker Dozier pretty similar knife I liked it. All the Boker Plus line I've used, I've been fine with, been playing with some of the folders as well.

Yep - I've got one of the folders. I put a deer out of it's misery one night on the roadside with that blade. I wouldn't confuse it with my Buck Kalinga, but it does it's job for the $...

Looks like a good knife for the money. I like the looks of the blade design. Risk the $34 bucks and see if its any good.

Got one. Quality is pretty good for the price like the other Boker plus knives. The design is interesting with the offset wide blade and unsharpened hilt, almost like a shrunken German style chef's knife. I don't really care for the pinky hook on handle, but it's big enough to not be a problem unless you have huge paws.

The sheath is pretty bad. Made of crappy leather, intended for IWB carry so if you can't stand it the belt loop is only for left hand carry. Plus the dang belt loop is not sewn onto the sheath but held with velcro, not really a problem for IWB but no way I'd carry it like that outside belt. Would rather see a kydex like many other boker plus products.

The sheaths have been the one shortcoming of the cheaper asian bokers, compared to the Argentine or German ones, but for good priced knife I'm willing to overlook a lot when it comes to a sheath.

Yep - I should. I really don't need another knife. It's a danged disease isn't it?

It's a looker, that's for sure.

Yep - I like that practical design, looks like it would be at home in the kitchen too!

Thanks for the info! I have medium size hands (I wear a medium/large men's glove..) so that shouldn't be an issue. You seldom get a great sheath on bargain priced knives, but that can be remedied....

Same here. We have a lot of talented leather benders around here..
