I found these while exploring East Fork State Park. They were about 20 feet from the edge of the river in an area that is frequently flooded. I have no idea what animal these would come from. I only found these no skull or other parts to be found. In the picture of the single bone I'm holding there is a forked side and single spike side. Others had single spike on both sides. Any ideas would be appreciated.

They are fish vertabrae. Probably from a big Frshwater Drum or a large Catfish.

Carp?
With ya on the fish

Thanks for the quick replies. I should have known fish right off the bat, but I guess I've never seen them naked like that before. There are many large carp in that river. Lots of people kill them and throw them on the bank to rot. Thanks for the idea on the beads Skab. I will have to keep them next time I find some.
