Not in the woods....damn.
Ordered this little cheapy Browning blade. $20 worth. Stainless, and G10. I bought it solely because I liked the looks of it. The sheath certainly isn't anything to write home about. Sorry for the photo quality, not my best.

It's like if a Spyderco Native and a Karambit had a love child.

Looks like a handy blade. What series stainless?
7Cr17 Stainless. The full designation is 7Cr17MoV. From what I understand, it's basically .7 Carbon, 17Chromium and a hint of Moly and Vanadium. In other words (generally speaking) 440A with Vanadium added, or AUS-8 with more Chromium minus the Nickel.

It's easy to read you love it, Warrior! congrats!

more science in your description of that steel than I've been exposed to in a decade! lol.

I do like it a lot. I have plenty of nice knives, so a cheapy doesn't hurt every once in awhile, lol.

I've heard pretty good things about 7cr17. Looks like a good deal at $20!

Hard to go wrong for $20, that's for sure.

A friend of mine from scouts has one of those Brownings. He said it takes a good edge and holds it well, uses it mostly as a skinner. processed two with it, said it did just fine.
