Came home last night to a package from alex30808 last night that was full of amazing fatwood. I had posted a thread a while back about help with identifying it and he was kind enough to send me a good deal of it so i would know what i was looking for!

I've also in the past couple months that i have been on here had a great trade with Howie, itsbaker, and won a giveaway from Gryphonblade and learned what a cool guy he is. Throw on top of that all the incredible things i have learned here and I am completely blown away with how giving everyone is. A huge thanks to all of you here :)

Definitely. Forgot to mention gwynn1975, when i was questioning about some wax he was more than helpful and sent me some great links. Seems like every question you ask, people go out of their way to help with.

Awesome...glad you got it and glad you like it....the piece in the top left and the bottom center came from the stump in my yard I was telling you about...the tree was cut a little over 8 years ago and the remaining stump is now fat wood...took that long to form into fat wood and the longer I leave it...the better it'll get. The dark top half was in the ground and the driftwood grey end was exposed. The top middle piece came from a "reclaim" pine log. No telling how many years it had been underwater. The middle piece came from my dad's fat lighter pile.
