just wanted to let ppl know 511 must have overproduced od green bc all their molle pouches are cheaper than other colors. all the 6x6s including padded and fak are 10$ compared to the 25 for other colors. dont have all the bells and whistles of the maxpeds but solid kit.

Pulling the trigger on 3 items now. 33.45 shipped! :) Thanks for the heads up Ghost, I can't buy Condor or Voodoo that cheap.

OD is not in the description for several items even if the color is there in the selection. Perhaps they're just blowing them out and eliminating them from the catalog.

I got the 6x6 and 6x6 FAK along with the H2o carrier they were all on the $10 price.
 
FYI OD has fallen out of favor, since the Army went to UCP, allowing only UCP or Foliage pouches, and the USMC going to MARPAT, and allowing mostly Coyote Brown pouches, or MARPAT, and some units authorize MultiCam.

So, my guess is that they are getting rid of their stock of OD, like Spec Ops did a few years ago. So if you want them, get them now.

I like OD , wouldn't bother me to pick up lots of cheap closeouts ! :1:

The Canadian 5.11 site isnt offering the same deal :(
It might be a good opportunity for BCO or some other vendor here to pick up a bunch and offer them around here... especially those of us with access to the border...

Will the 5.11 H20 pouch fit a Guyotdesign bottle think mine is 32oz but its the filter for good bottle. Curious too about the bottle and cup if that will fit, still need the cup but if anyone knows it would be appreciated. About to put in an order.

th h20 pouch is only 7 inch tall when closed with velcro. however it fits my 40 oz klean kanteen and gsi cup which is about 10 1/2 inch. tall. the velcro doesnt close but the buckle holds it shut just fine. might i add that besides being cheap on the od stuff you dont have to purchase tac ties or malice clips. their built in slick stick system is awesome.

im glad you didnt buy voodoo or condor. the stuff i have seen or owned from them has fallen apart. the 511 stuff is rugged. they have the 1000d nylon and ykk zips etc. but i like that theyre not overdone. plus not having to buy attachments to use them is sweet.

Personally, I don't have many issues with stuff like Voodoo and Condor, but I also don't use most of it as an external part of a rig, but more as an organizer. I owned a Rush pack which I liked quite a bit and wish I'd never traded, so have no doubts about the pouches being quite durable.

i had a voodoo bag given to me and after a month it was literally falling apart at the seams. i have heard similar things about condor products from ppl i know dont leave them in their closets. just got the rush 72. love it.

I have 2 OD H2O pouches... good gear... they easily fit a 32oz Nalgene, a nesting cup and a lid.
