Talking about this string on another thread . I think this is a pretty good video . I do about the same thing except I made a jig for my cordless drill to expedite all the twisting . 3 Rivers has the string cheap . You can make about a hundred strings (?) with two spools .

Yup! good one thanx, i usually just get em made for $10 but gonna start making my own.. I got an old BP "Flame Hunter" TD recurve as well with a medal (velour covered) riser 45# @ 28" that i want to turn into a fishing bow mabey? never even shot it yet...Gonna order me some B52 in the near future and get started, thanx

Good video, I've seen this one before. I wonder if bank line would work or if it would stretch to much.
 
I've wondered about bankline too. I mean I know it will work, but would it work as good as dacron. Is there that much of a difference?
