One of the tastiest candy bars I have ever had- don't know why the Canoodians won't share them with us- I discovered them at a stop off at Pelee Island to buy a one day Canoodian fishing permit- awesome flavor.

Nestle's Coffee Crisp Candy Bar
Item #DMG COFFEE CRISP
Coffee Crisp candy bar is a unique candy item. Smooth chocolate, crisp wafer, and delicious coffee cream inside- these are borderline addictive.

Being so close to the Canadian border, Buffalonians have enjoyed these candy bars for ages

Ingredients: sugar, modified palm, sunflower and/or safflower oil, wheat flour, modified milk ingredients, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, soya lecithin, coffee, sodium bicarbonate, lactose, cocoa, yeast, polyglycerol polyricinoleate, natural flavors

NET WT: 50g

I quickly found out that they taste even better if you freeze them and eat them right out of the Freezer.......

I was reading the wiki about them, they tried to market them here a few years ago and they didn't catch on. A British company imports them here to the US for some reason, but I don't know where to find them.

I used to send those to Shug to get his fix before his daughter moved here.I never realized the power they had

I can't believe I grew up so close to Canada and never saw one and I LOOOOOOOVE coffee and chocolate together munchables! If someone could please send me one to try I'll send something back that will blow your mind in return. Either because it is delicious or because it is something so unexpectedly done in return.

Seriously? You can't get these in the states? It's funny how certain things are avail only up here and others only down there, you guys outta try ketchup chips...

I may have to just scrape by with the dark chocolate covered espresso beans that my wife brings home:36:

They tried distributing them in the US a few years back but they didn't take off. I dunno what it is, but Canadian candy bars are 100 times better than American.

Know what I thought was the coolest thing in Canada? When I was about 11 (so about 20+ years ago), my father and I went up to Bennett Lake near Perth, Ontario on a fishing trip. We stopped at this little gas station in Glen Tay and got a Pepsi. Now, to open this soda, you pushed a button on the top of the lid instead of pulling a tab. It was frickin' great. ;)

in England, they have a thing called a porridge bar, like an oatmeal bar, but sooooooo much better.

thanks for a similar flashback

They use real sugar in Canada, no high fructos corn syrup. At least that's true with their soda

My sister moved State-side years ago and every time they come back to visit, this is one of the things they stock up on!
