cold day out in the city

I live in Boston, today it's so cold out . But i love to try out to see how it work for me with my clothes and cooking .

it's still some birds around but my point and shoot camera really not work for birds picture :)

when i collected the wood i realize some hairry vine in the tree. I think it's poison ivy. It's for people don't know , just don't collect that wood

Hey Alan, nice to see that you got out, I thought about it when I got up this morning, the sun was shinning and it looked like that kind of day, then I stuck my head out the door and decided it was better to sit by the fire to have my coffee.

Was that your special black tea in that pot ?
 
It was waaaaay cold today! Glad you made it outside. I did a hike this morning in Leominster. It was six degrees and windy. Good time for tea!

Moe right there with ya Mate thought bout riding today but that wind changed my mind.


Nice pics Alan as cold as it was out today that beach does look inviting beach not the water :D lol

hi Moe, it's green loose tea, yeah i love green tea. It's good for food digest too. Yesterday it's around 12F but the wind really make you cold. When i pour water to my pot , and some got on my glove and it frozen right away
 
Good on you for getting out. I thought about it yesterday morning but I took the easy way out and enjoyed my coffee indoors.

When I was a kid one of my first serious jobs was working for the Penn Central RR unloading automobiles at the auto yard in Framingham and I ended up getting frost bite in my fingers, ever since then it doesn't take much time in the real cold to numb them up, so it's got to be pretty mild to get me to do any winter woods stuff, but good on you for getting out and enjoying yourself.

That tea of yours might be green to you but the tea you showed me in Freetown sure looked black, it tasted good though, I like my coffee or tea strong anyway.

Hopefully we can get the same bunch of guys back together again in the spring and fall for another meet, a weekend overnighter would be nice, I'm pretty sure werewolf won has got something in mind.
