I'm in Littleton, thought I'd throw an invite out to any Bushcrafters in Colorado interested in going ice fishing in the next week or two? I know the weather has been a little warm along the front range, but up in the mountains it has been very cold at night and cool during the day. Was up at Skaguay a few weeks ago and three of us caught twenty eight in three hours and each kept our limit of four. If you dont have gear, no biggie, I have eleven rods ready to go.

If you have not ice fished before, let me just warn you, its cold, plan and simple and if the wind is blowing, it is really cold. But if you dress for it, you will have fun and take home some fish and great memories, well at least I do.

Ice Fishing

never been ice fishing but would be interested in trying it out. when were you thinking?

lets see if we can get some others to respond, then we will find some ice as near all of us as possible. However, Granby, Eleven Mile, Antero, Skaguay are my favorites. But close to home I fish Chatfield and Evergreen.

Lets try for 14 of January. They will give us and others time to plan.
