After reading Iz' report on these, decided to grab one. I stripped most of the paint off and I like how it look a little rough aroung the edges.
The only issue I really had was near the edge in the middle. One side was fatter than the other and gave me some trouble trying to get it sharp. That took some time with a file. Of course, it could easily be just me. I'm only so-so on the sharpening front. But I got it resonably good.

I wrapped some old paracord (gutted) as a collar. That synch on the back worked to keep the bottom loops from creeping down when I cut. It is really tight and working well.

Looks good. I like the wrap you did. Hope your knee is doing good so you can use your new toy.

My wife actually checked with the physical therapist and he ratted me out. I had planned to go play with my new toy this weekend and that got nixed

He said maybe 2 weeks more. I know of a few dead pines down in the woods I want to hit for fat wood!
