I'm looking for a duffle to carry my camping gear in. I would like it to be able to hold a tent, cooking gear, etc. Basically the stuff that is to big or heavy for my hiking backpack. I want it to be pretty big to fit everything in, probably around 30 inches long, give or take. As far as material I like canvas, but I am okay if it is something else. Not to picky on this, just looking for something that will serve me well for a long time to come.
I have looked around, but the only two that caught my eye were these:

Any suggestions!

Thanks everybody.

Depending on the shape of your gear, an Israeli style duffle (rectangular, zippered downt he middle), or a military or military style round duffle (best with the zipper down the middle for your uses) should work well.

VooDoo Tactical make a HUGE round duffle bag that you could probably camp in the bag if you want one that big (slight hyperbole, but not too much).

I also use a military duffle, love it,strong, cheap, and easy to find everywhere!

I paid mine like 20$ brand new, tough to find better quality for that price.

My GI duffel has been through a lot and is in the same great shape I got it in. With 20-30 pounds, I've even used it on hikes, and fully loaded it wasn't too heavy to lug around an airport for a few hours.

Wow, I never thought about my Navy duffel bag. Good call guys. Now If I could just do something with the clothes in it that haven't fit me in 15 years...

north face duffels are supposed to be fantastic. ive heard lots of great things about em, although they tend to be a tad bit pricey.
