Great job, love those Dutch ovens. Thanks for sharing the vid and good cooking, or is that keuken deutch. Nice recipe.
FYI, I guess you may already know, you can get a roll of parchment paper at the Wal-Mart or other supermarket in the baking section. It's the same stuff as the Coleman DO liners, but cheaper, and of course, not in round shapes, but on a roll like wax paper or aluminum foil. Works great.

I use the cheap stuff from Wal-Mart all the time for baking. There is a neat little trick to fold it into a cone and then cut the end off. It makes a perfect circle every time. The next time I make something in the Dutch oven I'll make a video of it.

How about that recipe for the "high hydration" dough? I'm very interested. Thanks.

I don't have a dutch oven but I'm thinkng that could be a good Superbowl Sunday dinner made in the oven. I too want the recipe, if you could just type it up I can copy and print it.

Thanks for sharing.

The recipe for dough and everything is right there in the video. I've moved away from print media more or less, but I will occasionally write something for a magazine. I used to run a cooking blog but I found that people understood much better with a video. If you absolutely can't watch the video, I understand. PM me and I'll shoot you a recipe. Thanks a ton for your interest.

Great stuff, thank you for the video- I'll be breaking out the Dutch oven very soon to try this one out.

I just tried this recipe today, first time using a dutch oven (have had one for years that we got as a gift but hadn't used it) and I gotta say it was very good. Thank you for putting up the video. :)

Just finished up a cookin of this. I used a 14" DO and it was very good. A few lessons learned...Because of the extra size...I increased the amount of dough. I almost made it too thick...but it turned out excellent. Every one in the house loved it and are looking forward to next week's attempt.

Glad you guys are having success! Cooking in a Dutch oven is so much fun. In the summer it is awesome because then you don't heat your house up with the indoor oven.
