Apparently the blades have a much better coating, laser etched, tweeners also come with 2 handle sets one black one coyote brown. The BK14 orange and black handles are Grivory or something similar not micarta. And micarta will be available for the new small Bk&t's. looks like a good line up, more I see of them.

That BK-16 is an attractive blade for sure. That is a great sized knife to design a survival kit around especially if you are already carrying a machete. My one and only belt knife survival kit is designed around a BK-7 and it is a bit too large to wear on the belt in addition to a machete.

Wow that 16 looks like a really good design. I can't wait tot see the final grind and price point. I may have to grab one of these. Maybe 2.

I am definitely advising one of my friends that he needs to wait just a bit before he makes a new purchase. That one may be worth holding off to get it.
