I was a little hesitant to stick this one in the Hunting, Fishing & Gathering Forum since we didn't catch any thing this time:50:.

Last weekend, we loaded up the pulk and headed out to a local lake. It's home to carp and trout, and a few smaller species who's names I don't know.

Me, Chico, and my oldest boy, who thinks he's a ninja at times...

This is apparently around when I figured out the fish weren't biting that day.

So, I figured I'd turn it over to the little guy for a bit of beginner's luck... still nothing.

Well, that's it for now. Going to head out and try our luck again tomorrow. Thanks for looking!

I agree, great to see you out there with your family. Are those caribou hides your relaxin on? great idea! looks like an enjoyable time, you might not have caught fish, but you made lots of memories.

Thanks man, Yes they are. We also use them in the lavvu and to line the childrens' pulks. They work really well.

Thats an awesome trip. Where did you get the harness for Chico? I've been wanting to get one for my Husky.

Looks like you had a great time regardless of the fish not biting. :)

Skitt fiske!

Awesome post, Is that a Boones Branch around your neck?

Thanks Joe. Yup, that's my Boone's Branch, all ready to clean the fish that never came:50:. It got a good workout cutting up sausages and stuff for lunch at least -- fantastic little knife.
