So,
here is my first attempt at leather working.
It's a sheath for my broad ax. It's made with scrap leather from hobby lobby "it's fuzzy on both sides". I'm pretty proud of it. Took me a long time to stitch it, and put in the rivets. I had to drill out one since I put it in the wrong way, another one is hanging off the edge a little bit but it should hold fine.
I even waxed it which made it stiffer.
I couldn't find a brass snap small enough to fit, though i was a little rushed after some dude hit on me in Joanne's.
I feel weird enough going into fabric/craft stores as it is. I think I might send in my wife for stuff from now on.
