This will be one of the challenges for the second stage of the hardwoodsman tab challenge. It won't start until the bushclass intermediate is over but I thought I'd film it while I had the chance. Hope you like it.

Nice work! Will be adding that to my to do list, though I have many more other steps for now to go through. Thanks for the inspiration.

I dig it Iz. You are the doer of doers....that might have come out wrong.

Nice work bro.

Cool! I'm looking forward to this one! :4:

What kind of axe is that you're using there Iz?

Council tools boy's axe. Best axe I've owned.:dblthumb:

Thanks, guys I appreciate it.

Cool video Iz.

What are you calling a Full Sized Axe?, by that I mean weight and length.

Thanks

That's a Hardwoodsman getting it done!

Good Stuff Iz!

Just don't tell me I have to do it one-handed in the rain... :28:

At least a 24" handle. Weight doesn't matter.
Basically something you would take for a couple days in the deep winter.

I get to practice this almost daily, since I heat with wood. However the handle on mine is shorter now after replacement. Good stuff. I have come to prefer using the small axe to a large knife for fire prep, the same way Iz did in video, although the sticks i use are 20" long or less.

just keep adding to my spring break list of fun stuff....
