Been there done that, except at Fort Dix. Good luck and don't VOLUNTEER FOR ANYTHING! Hands stay behind the back! Mouth is closed! Got it? Good!

Army General Orders (For Boot Camp)

1. I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved.

2. I will obey my special orders and perform all of my duties in a military manner.

3. I will report violations of my special orders, emergencies, and anything not covered in my instructions to the commander of the relief.

Start memorizing.

(We had eleven at Parris Island... what happened?)

Congrats, Bro. Excellent move!

Wow 33?? I guess times have changed when I was in the USMC 27 years of age needed a waiver from the Commandant of the Marine Corps to enlist.

Well godspeed and give them heck. Being a bushcrafter is like being a farm boy you have one up on them all.

Hooah!
At least you'll be ok with the temperature, being from Ohio. I went from July to October in 1993; the heat of July and August was brutal for a Connecticut lad. Still, I wouldn't trade it for the world. Kick backside, take names, and lean forward in the foxhole Brother. You'll do fine. Happy New Year!
