@Zunga I'll admit I didn't look at the prior post for the details on your question, but I assume it has to do with the combination of spline and point weight causing more or less porpoising of the arrow. It could effect the angle at which the bolt leaves the rails.
For regular archery at 25 feet you might still be dealing with the arrow recovering from the flex of being launched, which can give you false reading when paper or nock tuning. Probably none of that going on with your bolts.
