Has anyone owned a pair of these boots? Any praises or complaints?

I just bought a pair of the 1000gram Insulate. They are sooo comfy. Wondering what the best way to keep em cared for. Mink oil? Bee's wax?

Suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I second the snow seal. More natural products in it like beeswax. I use a hair dryer and an old sock to apply.
Not sure if its true or not but I have read that petroleum based products like mink oil or dubbin can break down the glue seals between rubber and leather over time and can weaken the nylon threads used in stitching.

I have a pair. It seems like they are taking longer tha usual to break in. They have been getting much better and seem to be well made. I have used silicon spray. Some of the oils worry me that they might plug up the gore-tex.

I have a pair of Irish Setter 3840 Snowridge boots
and the care instructions that came with them said
to use only Silicone and or Leather protector.

I have used them solely for deer and turkey
hunting for two years now and treat them
with silicone spray. The boots are comfortable
and are still waterproof.

So far I am happy with them.
