Isolated Peru Tribe


Saw that today, it's amazing there is still tribes so isolated in this day and age.
 
I think it is cool to live in a country that still has un-contacted stone-age people living in it.

Contact is a very difficult issue. In many cases the tribe doesn't want contact and actively avoids it... until they change their minds. Maybe only part of the tribe wants contact and others don't. Maybe the group making contact is driven to by fear of death at the hands of other tribe members. Maybe they just want stuff like this case seems to be. You can't know, but contact can be very dangerous for all involved.
 
I'm interested that the only trades they ask for are cooking pots and machetes. That's a pertinent point as to bushcraft and survival kits.
