At least it only cost me $9.99 on evilBay :4:

Very nice. Looks like the Fort Meigs Belt Axe pattern.

Thanks! According to their website:

WE MAKE EACH PIECE BY HAND SO EACH ONE IS ONE OF A KIND. EACH PIECE HAS ITS OWN CHARACTER BEING HAND MADE. AS WITH ALL OUR TOMAHAWKS WE OFFER A LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTEE ON THE HEADS WITH NORMAL USE. WE WARRANTEE YOUR TOMAHAWK HEAD FROM CRACKING OR SPLITTING WITH NORMAL USE FOR LIFE.

Circa 1750

Belt Axe's were commonly used by Longhunters as well as hatchets. These smaller version axe carries well in your belt and is great for small camp chores. The hickory handle is only stained for this model. A period correct piece that will make a nice addition to your collection.

Will Kings told me, and I quote "Yes we make all of our axes including this belt axe, it is a Revolutionary War pattern and it has our torch mark stamped into the back lower of the head where it is hidden from plain sight."

I am very much looking forward to receiving this axe. :4:

Awesome find for $10!!! I haven't seen a belt axe like this before.

That is a VERY cool place, but I could spend a fortune there if one were available to me!
