I originally planned to go solo camping for at least one night, maybe two, over my Christmas break. But, I got some good resistance from the one who is really in charge. She did give me permission to take the kids out on a day hike. I had to bump it up a couple days because we just got some hot weather in and it melted all the snow. Luckily I did this in time. All I have is video, so I apologize for those who can't get youtube. I will need to remember that next time. I also get to show off the new camera Santa brought me.
