My first leather craft project. Made this little pouch from a tandy kit. I also got a knife sheath kit, rivets, punch, and a bag of small leather scrap to make some hatchet sheaths. Now i just need to order some snaps. It only took about 35 minutes to put this pouch together. Very cool project to do with your kids [wish mine wad old enough]. Feel free to post your projects here. Must be leather. I have definitely found a new hobby.

Nice work rush!

I posted this elsewhere...but since you asked...:-;

There are lots of simple leatherwork projects you can do without stitching. I made this hawk mask with a few rivets, a snap and some scraps from a leather tool belt I got at a thrift store:

I have been enjoying doing some leather work lately. I have to get some die and a groover.

Nice work did you cut the strips out yourself for the closure
no sadly I did not. It was a tandy kit. Paid $5.99 @ hobby lobby. They have several kits for beginners. I also got the knife sheath kit @$4.99. Next will be the moccasin kit @$18.99. I am also tracing all my pieces on card stock so I have patterns for latter projects.
