Look great!

Is the lens glass or a plastic type? My only concern would be trying snap that shut on a glass lens. I really like how you made it! Great job!

You just keep turning out good stuff, CS. Nicely done. Looking forward to your next project.

I actually though about that the first time I closed it. Doesn't snap too hard and it doesn't look like it will be an issue.

I put some moleskin over the snap on the inside of my son's Kindle case, that should work for you too. You certainly don't want to scratch up a nice lens like that. Beautiful leatherwork, by the way!

lord, i hate you people with leather working talent... my poor creations pale in comparison... :D

NICE work Comanchesniper. love it.

a friend of mine who does sheaths puts his snaps on first, then sews the inner liners over them to prevent scratching the blades. something like that might be possible with your snap covers, if you were to line the case.
