Little Henry Finally Came Home

I looked at the bank account last night and did the happy dance. I got my refund, so I bought my first rifle today. I picked up a Henry Youth lever. It has a short enough pull that it sits comfortably on my shoulder without me feeling like I'm three feet from the rear sight. It has silky smooth action and feels right in my hands. I'll take it up to my brothers when I go to work this week and I'll break it in. I think it might be too small for Mr. Monkey Arms. (He's 6'7").

I haven't been this excited to shoot since I was a kid going up to my grandfather's farm.

Hey Avin, I'm with ya on the whole short stock thing, i'ts been the story of my life. hard kickin shotguns will absolutely beat your brains out when the stock is to long. I've switched to youth guns myself and life is better. You got a great little rifle there, ought to keep ya grinnin for some time...Uncas
