Little Hike with my oldest.

Went on a little hike with my oldest and came across a debri pile from some forestry dept. clearing. My son saw all the pine branches and debris and said, hey dad lets build a debri shelter. I was so proud I almost cried, he worked mostly by himself and this is what he came up with.

We did all this while I was out getting some course objectives done, we had a really great day.

Ok so I went back today just for kicks, it got really windy and rainy here last night and I was curious how it held up, surprisingly It was just as we left it and it was bone dry on the inside, he made it to small for me to get in but I think he built a better shelter than I have ever built. Your talking to one proud daddy.
