But without the cobra style strap. Something the same size straight through. More vintage looking, like the ones used in The Godfather's luparas. Even the "nooses" on this one seem more refined.

I know I've seen what I am looking for on some guns in pictures, but I can't seem to Google one up.

I used this one for years on my Marlin 30-30 Screenshot_20251218-095022~2.pngthe leather is really nice.Screenshot_20251218-095037~2.png

I found one at Andy's that says it will work with a SB SxS, but the video no longer works.
To me it looks like you need swivels.

I made my own for lever rifles that had no sling attachment points and did not want to clamp the mag tube or drill a hole in the buttstock…
Instead of what I did at the butt, you could just do another loop for the gun’s wrist…IMG_6901.jpegIMG_6900.jpegIMG_6899.jpeg

He's a one man shop.

If you reach out to him, he'll be glad to do custom work.

I've thought about ordering a long belt and making my own out of it.
But I haven't seen a good pic of the noose end until your pics.
Those are a big help.
I just ordered a strap from Tandy (72”, I think). It is quite easy to make.

Well shoot. I did not know you could order a suitable strap without getting half a hide.
I already ordered a belt off fleabay that is showing USPS has it already. I ordered a belt before and adapted it to my 3:10 to Yuma coach gun sling, but in that case I needed the buckle. So now I'll have an extra vintage looking buckle for next project.

I'm guessing for one end I will need a bigger slot, as I will have to pass the already looped end through it.
But I might come up with something different anyway. Maybe narrow it down on the other end and use a Sam Browne button for adjustability to different wrists.

Good to know about tandy. I probably already knew and forgot. I think I ordered a belt strap from somebody when I made a holster before. But I'm old ;)

Simply rugged makes one too similar to that
