My new warbonnet blackbird is on the way. Also orders a 3/4 bottom quilt and a top quilt. Can't wait to get it used. Anyone close feel like a winter hang?

I'll meet you in the middle. We can hang our hammocks in Sgt. Mac's front yard and freak out the neighbors.:39:

I wish I was close by! My Blackbird needs more using. Did you go for the WB quilts or did you order those from another maker?

I'm looking to get a WBBB as well, but i'm just lurking the hammock forums to get a cheaper one.

I won't be doing the UQ thing though. WAY too pricey. I think i'll use a sleeping pad, as it's more versatile for when I have to sleep on the ground. I'll spend the money I saved on some whiskey.

I have a WBBB 1.7 dbl, and absolutely love it. I am sure you will be happy with your purchase. MY UQ/TQ are from hammock gear and i love them. I sold off alot of old and no longer used gear to be able to afford them. I will say that while they are expensive, they are superb quality products.

When you really look at it though, they don't cost much more than a quality sleeping pad and a quality sleeping bag combined(as that is what they are replacing).

===> You're gonna LOVE the WBBB! I just returned from the Hammock Forums New Jersey Winter Hang in the Pine Barrens with my Blackbird, and tried-out my new Superfly Tarp in Camo (with doors). Was outstanding! Had a 30* Underquilt, a moving pad in between the hammock layers (1.1 Dble), and a 20* bag for a Top Quilt. Was comfy down to 22* the last night!

Enjoy!!!
