I've done business with Howes in the past. Product arrived in good shape, as described, etc, etc...
But...I have noticed some weird stuff with them when they put stuff on "clearance". I bought a bhk knive from them maybe a year ago and got a good deal as they were on clearance.
Shortly after that they took all the bhk knives off the site. A few months later they were back but the "clearance price" was about the same as the original price.
Like someone else said, check the prices for sure before you jump on an item as it might not be so great of a deal...
Not trying to bash them as there is an item or two I will probably pick up myself. Just trying to make sure you don't get the fever and stop paying attention.
