Mini-compasses

I've seen several people ask at different times, where can I get a button compass after someone has shown one in their gear.

here is a lot of 24 I found on amazon:

Here is a lot of 12 that are a little larger. Made to clip onto a watch band, they'd probably be pretty good for clipping onto standard 3/4" webbing also:

Unfortunately, the smallest I found was 20mm.

Check out survivalresources.com - they have varied sizes of button compasses and you can buy them individually. You'll end up paying more per compass, but I believe they are very good quality and you won't end up with a dozen+ compasses.

I got a handful of these same ones from a surplus store, they were giving them out with purchases, ended up with near on 15 of them. They stay in various places now.

Google an outfit called The Compass Store. They also have lots of 12 for around $10 or so.

I have looked before for these too, I now have a mini compass on my firesteel tube but never did find a compact lensatic compass.

It's not going to be a perfect lensatic, can't lock the needle or anything but It should be good enough for what I want.
