leaf and lightning
Guide
put my new dozier through the paces yesterday... after using it all week for everyday work oriented stuff and some kitchen duty(earning me scowls from my GF, but it worked well) I finally got to use it a bit out in the woods... basic stuff, like fuzz sticks
did ok, so I decided to whittle a stake with it
next I cut a 1/2" branch off a beach tree
that went so well I decided to step it up a notch... I used it to cut down an 1 1/2" thick maple sapling
bent the sapling over a bit and started cutting in at an angle
got about 3/4 the way through
then one cut from the other side and
tada
so far, I have not needed to even touch up the edge on a strop... it has held a shaving sharp edge through everything I have done with it and probably will keep holding it a while longer...
all in all I like this knife so far, and plan on carrying it for a long time...
